Hearing School of the Southwest


	Luella Funderburg Director/Deaf Ed Teacher– Luella has a bachelor’s degree in Deaf Education from Texas Woman’s University and a Master of Education degree in Education Administration also from TWU. Luella is a certified Auditory Verbal Educator. She has worked as a deaf education teacher and interpreter with both Dallas ISD and Denton ISD. Luella has been with The Hearing School since 2006.
	Kelly Aguilar Special Education Teacher – Kelly has a degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Special Education from Texas Woman’s University. She has experience teaching special education in Irving ISD and she has taught in a private preschool in Coppell. Kelly has been with The Hearing School since 2010.
