Volunteers add a special dimension to our school. We feel that our volunteers are special gifts to our school. As gifts come in all shapes and sizes, volunteers come with all types of interests and available time. There are several ways you can volunteer from a single afternoon to a daily association. With all our volunteers we have found that the lives of our children and our volunteers are enriched by their mutual association.

Classroom aides: help directly with the students in their daily activities. This is a wonderful outlet for everyone from grandmothers to students who are exploring the field of hearing impairment and working with special needs children. Each volunteer will be trained on site and becomes a special part of our classroom.

Office aides: help us copy materials, answer the phones and help with clerical duties.

Torch Volunteers: are special people in community that are willing to talk about our school at social events and activities in the community.
